Grow Garden, Grow

As our feet move upon the earth, the earth recognises who we are and Who it is that we carry. It recognises the love we give, the hope we speak, and the joy written upon the tablets of our hearts. As our feet fall upon mountains and valleys, dirt paths and grass, we carry the Greatest of all gardeners within us and—like Him—we create gardens wherever we go…

The Greater Kingdom

Sometimes we think we are ‘done for.’ Dead. Gone. That the end or the ruin of each of us has begun. Why do we think this? Largely because the enemy issues us with threats based on what our physical eyes can see happening around us in this earthly kingdom. He weaves webs of words to paint psychologically twisted narratives (or illusions) that tell us there is absolutely no hope and no other way than to bow the knee to his thoughts or plans….

What Do You Fear?

What do you fear? Sickness? Death? Financial ruin? Relationship breakups? Fears like these are based on earthly judgment systems that have real consequences according to earth’s laws and legalities.

The Stars Sing

Next time you look up at the stars and catch a little shimmer, or a ripple of light, remember: that one star is singing out into the expanse of time and space about how much our God is love and about how much He loves every part of creation.

Dictatorship Verses Discipleship

You will. You must. In your government you trust. No questions here. No dissenting there. You’re bound by order, not by care. Do this or you’re selfish. Do that cause you’ve no choice…

Love Is What Tips The Balance

Smoke clouds billow, choke, and roll;

Instead of voicing truth and hope—
We speak aloud discordant tones
Of beliefs and choices,
Emotions and retaliations,
And of theologies and doctrines
Personalised through carefully crafted filters of ‘good versus evil’ and ‘evil versus good.’

Blazing Hearts

What did it look like when Queen Esther carried a message about her people to the highest place in the land? Was she fearful? Of course she was. But was her love for her people stronger? Absolutely. And her God? Most definitely. That love misplaced her fear. But make no qualms about it; it was still a life or death situation Esther stepped into.

Let It Be Done On Earth As It Is In Heaven

Many, many times in the Word, God’s people faced heinous circumstances for simply loving Him. The circumstances they faced were not created or caused by God, but rather, by the enemy…the Thief. The Word says that the “Thief comes to steal, kill and destroy, but I (Jesus) have come that you might have life and life more abundant” (John 10:10)…

Make Way For The King

I see Jesus stepping onto platforms made from wood and nails, cement and bricks, electronics and social media, hearts and minds—platforms that have been made for religion, culture and the entertainment of man. Platforms that have made God subservient to their own agendas, ideas, and desires...

An Open Letter

If I am to be honest, sometimes seasons like this can be burdensome and tiring (depending on which lens I choose to look through), but just now in worship I began seeing some things that I now feel led to share with you. They are eternal things I value and treasure...
